Happy Skyhunter Day!

Happy publication day to Skyhunter by Marie Lu! Skyhunter is one of my most anticipated reads of 2020 and I’m so excited to read it this fall! Marie Lu is one of my favorite authors and her books are auto-buy for me but Skyhunter also just sounds completely amazing!

Title: Skyhunter

Author: Marie Lu

Publisher: Roaring Brook Press

Publication Date: September 29th, 2020

Format: Hardcover (384 pages)

Synopsis:

A broken world.
An overwhelming evil.
A team of warriors ready to strike back.

Talin is a Striker, a member of an elite fighting force that stands as the last defense for the only free nation in the world: Mara.

A refugee, Talin knows firsthand the horrors of the Federation, a world-dominating war machine responsible for destroying nation after nation with its terrifying army of mutant beasts known only as Ghosts.

But when a mysterious prisoner is brought from the front to Mara’s capital, Talin senses there’s more to him than meets the eye. Is he a spy from the Federation? What secrets is he hiding?

Only one thing is clear: Talin is ready to fight to the death alongside her fellow Strikers for the only homeland she has left . . . with or without the boy who might just be the weapon to save—or destroy—them all.

Loyalty is life.

Other books by Marie Lu:

Legend

This was the series that got me back into reading and opened up the world of YA for me. I love this series endlessly and cannot recommend it enough! It’s prefect for fans of dystopian and enemies-to-lovers!

The Young Elites

I honestly don’t think this series got what it deserved. It was SO good. A story about power, betrayal and the lengths we go to for revenge. This series just deserved so much better.

Warcross

I was actually pretty hesitant to read these. Video games just aren’t my thing but these books were amazing and I loved the characters so much!

The Kingdom of Back

I haven’t read this one yet but I’m super excited to!
